In October 2023, I had the privilege of joining with my valued colleagues Dr. Uta Hinrichs ( University of Edinburgh), Prof. Rebecca Xu ( Syracuse University, NY), Dr. Xavier Ho ( Monash Melbourne) and A/Prof Jonathan Duckworth (RMIT Melbourne) as Exhibition Co-Chair of the globally based IEEE Computer Society Visual Art Program, known as VISAP 2023. We had a very successful conference and exhibition, well attended and enjoyed by all. the catalogue can be found here, https://visap.net/2023/ and contains a fantastic selection of established and emerging data artists working with the latest in AI, machine learning, creative coding, and data vis. And the best thing is I get to repeat this again in October 2024, when we take VISAP 2024 to Tampa Florida. This time I am General Co-Chair, alongside the wonderful Rebecca Xu and Pedro Cruz, with Santiago Echeverry as Exhibitions Chair. What a great group of humans!
